One of the most amazing things about taking over for a legend is the opportunity to sift through the myriad things left behind in his office.  Out of respect, or perhaps for some more metaphysical reason, for the first couple of weeks I was a little reticent to disturb much.  But this week I have begun to go through the bookshelves.

So, you ask, What did you find?? Lots and lots of stuff.

On the bookshelves are many old Lotus Products, (unfortunately most not shriink rapped) and other things from Microsoft and others.  Lotus products include:
  • Lotus Forms Release 1
  • Domino.Doc 1.1 D&E Server (shrink wrapped evaluation copy)
  • Domino Pager Gateway 2.03 (shrink wrapped evaluation copy)
  • Lotus Approach Release 3
  • Domino 4.6 Designer Starter Pack (Client an Server)
  • CC Mail Reseller Starter Kit (Includes cc:Mail release 2.01, documentation includng Lotus Organizer 1.1)
  • Lotus InterNotes News
  • Lotus InterNotes Web Publisher
  • Lotus Freelance Graphics Release 2
  • Lotus Notes HiTest Tools for VB Release 2
  • Lotus Notes ViP
  • Lotus Notes Windows Client Version 3.2 (North American Client Edition - Evaluation Copy)
  • Lotus 1.2.3 Release 4 (two copies)
  • Lotus Notes Document Imaging (LN:DI) 2.0
  • Lotus Notes Document Imaging (LN:DI) 2.1
  • Lotus Notes Accessory - Phone Notes Application Kit
  • Lotus Notes Accessory - Phone Notes Application Kit Release 2.0
  • Lotus Notes 4.1 Client
  • Lotus Notes 4.1 Server
  • Domino 4.5 Server
  • Lotus Notes 3.1.5 Starter Pack (Evaluation Copy)
  • Domino Fax Server

There are also old veriosn of the MSDN from 1997 and 1998 and this only covers the top shelf.  Much more exploring is ahead.

Hi Henry,

I happened to have my Lotus Pager Gateway 2.03 decide to crash on me the other day. As our copy of this software has long been misplaced it made getting it back up and working very difficult. We would dearly like a copy of this software. We would be indebted to you if you could send us a copy by FTP or we are happy to pay shipping for a copy.

Regards

Jonathan

Hi All,

I too, am desperate for a copy of Pager Gateway 2.03 (preferably 2.02), if it is possible to move from 2.01 directly to 2.03. Ours crashed two weeks ago and all we had was the 2.01 install discs and a backup of 2.02 on tape. The problem is we had to move the backup to new hardware and of course it wasn't a system state backup so not all configuration files came across.

Anyway, to make a long story short, we would gladly pay for a copy if anyone can locate one.

Thanks in advance,
Brian
